This episode, we’re proud to have Jack Spirko on to set the record straight on bug out bags. This is something that I’ve goofed up in my attempts to assemble, so I want to thank Jack for being very clear on what is and isn’t a bug out bag. Links for all the news story segments are below:
GOA treating Harry Reid unfairly?
The pistol that fired on it’s own
CNN fact checks… Saturday Night Live? Really?!?!
Obama and the Nobel Prize, with commentary
CA AB962- further reaching effects?
Read the comments from the antis on these next two links…
Melanie Hain, killed by LE husband
Tragedy, and the antis dance in the blood
Lone Wolf Distributors really did right by me. I recommend ‘em.

On GOA /Reid issue… It’s way beyond gun rights now.. It’s about Big government and all our rights. “Playing” to the gun enthusiast crowd does not give Reid a ‘pass’ on his other unconstitutional positions.

Excellent segment! Unlike most survival segments, this was based in the real world and even discussed wives and children. I plan to change some of the contents of my bug out bag based on Jack’s good advice. The best point, and one that I have always subscribed to is that my defensive gun stays with me and under my control. It doesn’t go in the bag. Great Show!!!
Eric,
You’re the only one I trust to give good advice on AR stuff (because we share the same tendency to oogle over all things new and shiny). I am dying to hear the word on the street about the new Trijicon RMR. P-P-P-P-PLLEase set me free! I saw a pic on the m4carbine.com forums of Chris Costa’s gun with the RMR on it. Next time you see, him, you know at the water cooler, axe him for me, will ya?
