Hopefully this will be my last show on mindset, training and thinking things through for a while. I’m getting tired of beating the horse full of bad ideas, and ready to start talking about guns again! We’ll be back next week with a Black Rifle 5-Day, where I plan on getting into some of the Arizona-made AR-15 options.

Here are two more links, showing that NRA and Harry Reid are actually good for gun owners. Why do I point this out? Because I have to say “neener-neener, I was right”? Well that’s part of it. I still think Reid is a repulsive human being, and have never said anything that be glowing praise of him, but after some blowback to last week’s rant I need to try and clearly show why we need to be rational and compartmentalize if we’re going to be effective in lobbying. Beyond that, we mostly talk about using our pistol as a primary, rather than “fighting our way to our rifle” and approaching thoughts like that more practically.

This episode I rant about people’s short-sightedness when they complain about the NRA, then try to highlight the difference between information and thinking before giving my thoughts on why I’ve chosen the equipment I have, and why it may not work for you.

Short episode this time, and we’re skipping the news because this was recorded so far in advance. It’s Independence Day weekend! You should be enjoying it- not cooped up indoors somewhere listening to me! But here are some thoughts about the lessons I learned when I got to attend the MAG-40 class in Sierra Vista this May. Hope you enjoy, take care, and we’ll see you next week with a more regularly formatted show.
