Arizona ARs – 105

July 30th, 2010 by Eric Shelton | 2 Comments | Filed in Podcast

This episode I talk about two of the major players in the premium AR market, and they’re both based here in AZ. Why do you care? Because even if the show isn’t the strongest one one I’ve done, these rifles are top-notch and one of them will find it’s way into the hands of a Six-Percenter for 2010.

The Pistol as the Primary – 103

July 16th, 2010 by Eric Shelton | 3 Comments | Filed in Podcast

Here are two more links, showing that NRA and Harry Reid are actually good for gun owners. Why do I point this out? Because I have to say “neener-neener, I was right”? Well that’s part of it. I still think Reid is a repulsive human being, and have never said anything that be glowing praise of him, but after some blowback to last week’s rant I need to try and clearly show why we need to be rational and compartmentalize if we’re going to be effective in lobbying. Beyond that, we mostly talk about using our pistol as a primary, rather than “fighting our way to our rifle” and approaching thoughts like that more practically.

Do guns or the shooters suck? – 071

October 30th, 2009 by Eric Shelton | 7 Comments | Filed in Podcast

This episode, I explore the ideas of different classes of shooters, and why the “that gun sucks” discussion gets started. As an unwitting test-dummy, I beat up on the XD to see what you guys think. Is it loved by many for the wrong reasons, and it sucks? Or do mission requirements for one person blind them to the needs and preferences of others?
